Screw size for 3.5" and 5.25" device mounting?

Hi guys!

I bought a card reader and have a 3.5" to 5.25" bay adapter that came with my case, but I lost the screws.

Can anyone tell me what screw size I need to buy? I can't seem to find the answer anywhere as apparently I'm the only one with this problem

Try any screw you have and it should do the job (i mean any computer spare screw you have not a big 1/4" screw )

#6-32(32 is the thread count per inch IIRC) for hard drives. These screws are used in electrical all the time

M3 with a thread pitch of 0.5 for optical drives.

Bring the adapter and a hard drive to the hardware store, they sell bulk screws, Make sure you get them SHORT
