I am willing to spend a few extra bucks if it will make my PC THAT much better. This is what I have so far. I'm looking for advice on better parts in order to boost performance. This will be primarily for gaming.

Case: $40
Cooler Master Elite 430 ATX Mid Tower Case

CPU: $215
Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor

Motherboard: $135
ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard

Memory: $47
Samsung 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

Storage: $145
Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
and
OCZ Vertex 4 128GB 2.5" Solid State Disk

Video Card: $800
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 2GB Video Card (2-Way SLI) x2

Optical Drive: $18
LG GH24NS90 DVD/CD Writer

Power Supply: $66
XFX 550W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply

Total comes to about $1,466. I am, again, willing to spend more if it will be a crucial difference. I appreciate any great feedback.

You won't run 2 670's peacefully in 550w bronze. Get 650w gold at least. Might I suggest the Bitfenix Merc Alpha and some Spectre fans(sold seperately). Fitting case for your build.
