the cheapest one you can get..
August 1, 2012 1:45:12 PM

Or a 670 OC which is by far best bang for buck since an OC 670 gets the same performanc (sometimes better) as a stock 680, so reviews say...

+1 for the gtx670

a gigabyte gtx670 oc is almost £100 cheaper than the equivalent gigabyte gtx680 for a very small performance difference

makes the gtx670 a no brainer in my opinion

+2 for the GTX670
August 1, 2012 2:13:06 PM

if you got the money, get the GTX 680.
it is overall the faster card even though select GTX 670's are kick-ass..
August 1, 2012 2:15:49 PM

so which is better hd 7970-gtx 680-gtx 670 and which manufacturer i should buy(for better peformance)
August 1, 2012 2:16:23 PM

depends, are you strapped for cash or not..?
(I hate repeating..)

i have money for gtx 680 but i want to know which of the above is better in performance & which manufacturer i should buy?
August 1, 2012 2:20:19 PM

i saw EVGA GeForce GTX 680 SC Signature 2,i wanted to know if it is good in performance?.Is radeon hd 7970 better or equal to it in everything?
August 1, 2012 2:25:44 PM

this week the 7970 is better, next week the 680 is better....
670 is and has been the price per performance winner..

just grab what you want and go with it, you can't lose with any that close to the top..
August 1, 2012 2:31:26 PM

What about temprature in both gtx 680 & radeon hd 7970?
August 1, 2012 2:36:29 PM

depends on the actual model in-particular.
but the GTX 680 wins that battle in power consumption IIRC.
August 1, 2012 2:43:30 PM

GTX 680 + an OC will beat a GTX 670 + OC. If money is not an issue then I would go for a GTX 680 and OC it. Thats what I am doing when I sell off my 2x GTX 470's.

It's like people completely blow off the notion you can OC a GTX 680.
August 1, 2012 2:53:28 PM

with tha CPU you'll need a HUGE overclock to not bottleneck the GPU.Still though i dont know why but AMD's cards seem to outperform Nvidia ones when paired with a slower CPU.I remember there was an article about that on hardocp.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
This card is actually faster than a GTX 680.It will however consume more power.

Just tell me what processor i should buy please? :)

Guys someone help me with that problem.
August 1, 2012 7:07:46 PM

The jump from the fx 6100 to the fx 8150 will have no difference in gaming. Sell off your sabertooth 990fx and fx 6100 and buy a i5 2500k/3570k with a ASRock z77 Extreme4.

You tell me to change my entire pc(Asus sabertooth 990fx & amd fx 6100),i cant afford doing that.I can change only the processor,if i changed the processor to amd fx 8150,it will be good or not for gtx 680 or hd 7970.plz guys i want your advice.
just keep what you have a buy this then http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... it won't bottleneck with that card ;)
August 1, 2012 7:33:14 PM

Guys i found someone who will buy my pc (amd) with price i never imagined.can u tell me about pc components that will be compatible with the gtx 680 card ( plz mention intel only). Can you you tell me which processor will not bottleneck gtx 680(i5 or i7) and the best model in both of them and a motherboard(but not cheap or very expensive)
August 1, 2012 7:36:02 PM

Here is a more sane suggestion, buy a hyper 212 evo and oc your cpu to at least 4.0ghz. It really wont cause any problems at that point. Then buy an 8320 when they come out and transfer your 212 evo to that and oc it as well. All you will need to do is a bios update to get the 8320 to work so you wont have to change your motherboard.

As for the gpu question. If you want to overclock your gpu, get a 7970. If you don't then get a factory overclocked 670.
