So with this build will i be able to play all games on highest settings?
I am not OC so dont worry about psu being so low many people tell me as long as i dont crossfire or overclock so higj it wont break a sweat.
will my system handle benchmarking tests?
Does the i5 3570 come with thermal paste?
will everything fit?
and please dont recommend parts im just looking to see if this build will work for my own reasons thx.

Solution
well with that build you really won't be able to play on highest settings on all games(skyrim and bf3) you might be able to at least play on high though.

if you do want to play on high(and since you already bought a 6950) i would say either try to sell the 6950 and try to get a 7850 or buy another 6950(meaning you will have to put in more power to your system) that will pretty much let you play on the highest(at least with steady fps)

if anything i would say sell the 6950, wait until you get more money(would say 800-1000 at least) and you would get a far better build than what you would get now for its price.

if you do not want to do that then i would recommend this kind of build

If you don't want to overclock CPU you could use H77 motherboard. You could also use cheaper locked i5. Of course, you'd be "burning your bridges", if you later decided you wanted to overclock, after all. That GPU is a bit outdated, and quite power hungry. Your power supply is OK, JUST. Probably be better to get 600w with that. Suggest you consider GTX660Ti, or HD7870 (the 660Ti is better), more performance, lower power requirement (stick with 550w), similar price.

As for OC goes the reaeon i got a unlocked is for future reasons. i prob oc when i get a better psu. i got the 6950 during labor day sales on newegg saved myself 100 dollars. :D so will the psu handle it still on a full load? in reality the most ima do is play gmaes such as deus ex or l4d2. maybe a few bench marks here and tbere.

this pretty much everything you would need but remember you are going fairly cheap on a lot of parts so don't think it will perform like a god

also some things to note
i put inside a different heatsink can change if you want to save money but this allows you to OC and if you do plan on doing OC i would say upgrade to a 600W supply to be safe

yes everything is compatible. Borderlands 2 will run all good but to really get full effect of it, i would say get Nvidia GPU so you can get PhysX. It is only something very minor though(unless you can see every single detail in a fast pace game)

oh then you could just downgrade a lot of things

im pretty sure you can play that kind of resolution on the on board graphics(just saying not trying to insult)

but for sure you will be able to play borderlands 2 on 1080p with full fps
