I would keep the 4GB 670, the only difference between the cards you listed is a few fps that can be had by overclocking the card.

The 680 only has 2GB of vram, where as the 670 has 4GB which could be utilized for games like Skyrim. This is for 1080p or greater resolution tho.

imo keep the card you have and enjoy it. Grab a 2nd later to sli them :)

Why would you upgrade? Is the performance not good enough? You should max out every game at that resolution with a gtx670. Not to be rude but, what is your goal here? Keep the card, get a 1080p monitor, play games, have fun! Good luck.

That's odd, it might be a vertical sync limitation with the game. IIRC some games max out at 30FPS with vSync enabled.

Keep the gtx 670. Nothing's wrong with it. Instead, invest the money in a higher res monitor. For the ARMA II dilemma, check your visual settings. Look and see if vsync or something similar is activated. If so, turn it off and check fps. Vsync is typically used to remedy screen tearing and such.

I always turn vsync off and force it off in nvidia settings. Also.. since everyone seems to be telling me to get a better monitor.. is thier a monitor for under 200$ max that you can recommend? (if its a super super good monitor i guess i might be able to spring for 300.. dont really want too though.. >.>)

If it had 3d gaming for nvidia cards that would be cool.. i really dont need it, but ya :p.

I really havent a clue on what to look for in a monitor.

Im currently using a compaq 7750, and a hanns-G 17in.

I was looking at monitors and stuff and this looked good and it is in HD.

However you guys seem to have more of a clue then me.. so if you could point me in the right direction and what to look for in a monitor that would be awesome!

Just get one with a resolution of 1920x1080p. That's as "full hd" as your gonna get at your budget. You also don't need to worry about 120Hz refresh. I believe those monitors are out of your budget range as well.

The 7950 is on par with the GTX 670, a bit faster in most games, but not much, and the 7970 is slightly faster then the GTX 680 in most games. The difference isn't huge.

However if you have regret over that GTX 670 you could always send it to me...

It's not faster in most games. From what I saw, the gtx 670 was faster...especially in battlefield 3 and skyrim

take in account that the bench is on the old drivers ? the new 12.7 drivers gave the 79xx series a great performance boost ?

Came on the market in 2009.

Cheap because its resolution is 1680 x 1050.

That monitor has no height adjustment, only tilt.
