Hello everyone, I am building a computer for the first time and had a few questions. I have been researching and buying parts for the past month or so. The following list of parts is what I have:
Case: Thermaltake Overseer RX-1
Power supply: Thermaltake TR2 RX 750 watt bronze
Processor: Intel i7 2700k
Mother board: Asus P8 Z77 V LK
Parts I have picked out:
RAM: Corsair vengeance 1600 MHz 8 CAS
Hard drive: WD 1TB blue/black (need help picking blue or black)
What I still need to research:
Graphics card: Primarily gaming, monitor resolution 1920x1200, max or almost max settings on newer games, willing to spend $200-$250, $300 if it will be worth it.
Hard drive: I know I want Western Digital, 1TB of storage, 7200 RPM, I need help deciding between blue or black. For now it will store everything, but later I will be getting a solid state to hold the OS, gaming exe’s, and other miscellaneous that I will need to pop in and out of (such as word documents, or excel sheets.)
Any help with picking the graphics card and hard drive would be much appreciated.
