Help for New Mini ITX Build for HTPC

Hi! First, I'd like to thank this community for helping me in my last pc build - advice was great, and the gaming rig works beautifully.

I'm now on to a new project, an as small-as-reasonably-possible computer that I can store in a shelf which will be used solely as HTPC, i.e. no gaming except maybe for flash-based games on-line. I want this to be cheap as possible.

Approximate Purchase Date: This week
Budget Range: $600 and below would be nice, but a bit of flexibility there.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: watching movies on a living room TV, playing blu-ray, handling all music, hooking up to surround sound system, surfing internet

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers (will need everything else)
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: (e.g.: newegg.com, ncix.com -- to show us selection & pricing)
Country: USA
Overclocking: No
SLI or Crossfire: No

Additional Comments: I like the SilverStone SG05's size, but given lots of music/movies/tv shows, I was concerned about the 1x 3.5" and 1x 2.5". I could get a 2TB hard drive, but if someone knows of another case that is on par, size-wise with the SG05 and has more HD space, then I'm open to switching. Would be cool if it had front fan/vents to allow for neon glow :D . I do want the ability to put in a reasonably large graphics card in the future, but I'd like to live off of on-board GPU for now.

This is my initial thought:
Case: SilverStone SG05
MOBO: ASRock A75M-ITX FM1 AMD A75 (I like that it has HDMI, and a remote... these are a must, onboard wifi would be great... saw ASUS has stuff like that?)
CPU: AMD A8-3850 Llano 2.9GHz Socket FM1 100W Quad-Core (seems nifty to have Radeon 6550 included but i know nothing about this CPU...figured AMDs are more cost-effective)
Memory: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin SDRAM DDR3 1600 (happy to switch to cheaper)
Optical Drive: Sony Optiarc Black 12.7mm Slot Blu-ray Writer (a bit pricey, if some1 knows of a cheaper blu-ray slimline drive, that'd be awesome
**Cooler: no idea, no OCing, so would stock cooler be fine? Otherwise, I have no idea what are good low-profile coolers that fit.
**Hard Drive: thinking maybe a 64 gig SSD 2.5" boot drive and a ~2TB cheap but reliable 3.5"? Could use advice on brands that are great value.
PSU: the 450w one that comes with the sg05

This build is running a bit on the expensive side, so anywhere I can shed bucks (esp. if components are overkill for what I'm trying to do) would be very helpful.

Thanks a bunch for the help! :)
