Pentium G2120 for a Server?

I am making a very lightweight, budget server. Around $410, I plan to run Ubunu Linux on it as its main and only OS. I would like to host a Minecraft server (not at the same time), possibly create something such as VPN or a DNS server. Is the G2120 a good budget processor? I honestly cant afford an i3. The server also will have 8GB of 1333mhz memory.

intel g to the i7 there mostly the same inside other then the gpu that build in and hyper threading. you should be fine for a light server with that cpu.

Im not really sure I would trust you with other things relateed to PCs, why you compared the Pentium G to the i7 and not an i3 or i5 is pretty strange. i7 also has turbo boost which could be another factor. Thanks for your input though
