Ok I was dual booting XP pro and Vista Basic x64 for the longest time... never had a problem, however i put in 7 and now every time I start to acess vido streaming or anything else bandwidth intensive is kickes me off the network telling me the default gateway is unavailable!

Heres all the hardware involved...

NIC: nForce 590 SLI AM2 (integrated in motherboard)

Network: DGS-2208 > 8-Port 10/100/1000 Desktop Switch

Which leads to...

DIR-655 > Xtreme N Gigabit Router

Now i dont know what kind of modem we have.... however the problem does not interfere with the modem or internet access or network acess for other computers. Only for Windows 7 and only on my computer (other computers in the house also have windows 7 wihout issue)

All of the network cable is cat6.

Windows and drivers are all up to date *as of an hour before this post* yet the problem persists.

Any ideas?

Solution
Have you tried setting your default gateway? It''s usually the same as your problem computer's IP address, but with ".1" at the end.
