FX-8350 or i5-3570?

AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor or Intel Core i5-3570 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor? They will be with a GTX 670 and used for heavy graphic games as well as video recording/editing and rendering.

  1. well i5 3570k is better for gaming. but if ur gonna encore and edit, the 8350 with a nice cooler and overclocked would be nice, depends if ur loyal to amd or intel, personally i just like intel as it heats less. but thats me, with a good cooler 8350 a beast.

Im don't really care about which company just what ever gets the job done :) .

Im gonna get this cooler - http://www.dabs.com/products/corsair-hydro-series-h60-2013-high-performance-liquid-cpu-cooler-8HLL.html?utm_source=td&utm_medium=affiliates&utm_content=TB00?ReferrerID=tb&utm_source=td&utm_medium=affiliates&utm_content=TB00[

So i guess i should go for the 8350 and OC like mad.
  3. If you go for the 8350 and get a decent cooler, like this one:

Which is the one i have, You can quite comfortably OC it to around 4.8Ghz, 5Ghz if you get the luck of the silicon draw.
  4. interesting
  5. For that price you can get an NH-D14 which will not only cool better but be infinitely quieter and removes risks associated with water.

The NH-D14 is the king of air coolers and beats even the H60's high end cousin, H100i in terms of noise and barely loses in terms of cooling.

Heats less? Are you kidding Ivy Bridge is hotter than the sun when overclocked, the 8350 is cooler at stock and overclocked!
