6870 or 6950

So during the time when this thread was created, the 6950 is having a sale (Sapphire specifically) for $50 less. I was wondering if I should get a 6870 which is $170-$180 or get the Sapphire 6950 for $200?

I would see if you can find a 7850 that is close to your budget. Otherwise go with the 6950.

If I saw a 7850 for around $200 I would've took it a long time ago.

The 6950 has far more clout just bear in mind the stock cooler can be a little noisy and hot under load-which is why mine has a modded Zalman VF3000A on it
