I'm using the TrendNet router for wireless, but I don't know if I locked wireless. I also have no idea if the connection is safe? I followed the steps to install wireless internet and I had the an option of typing some passwords. Does that means that I locked the wireless internet or is there some special options to make it safe?

if you entered a wireless password, this usually means you secured your wireless.

you can check by looking at the available wireless networks and see if there is a padlock symbol on your SSID (wireless network name)

If you entered a password that means it is secure.
