More about intel
  1. it depends on your budget and use. If you are gaming and your budget allows around a $180 processor, then Intel is your best choice. If you are doing more server/virtualization or media work, AMD is better at most price points. Intel has better single threaded performance (which most games will use between 1-4 threads), AMD has better multi-threaded performance at lower price points (applications like handbrake can use all 8 AMD cores).
  2. Theres not always one answer. Depends budget,Uses, you building a htpc pc? you gaming editing? etc. Theres never one answer
  3. Intel is generally better and most preferred by just about everyone. Intel tends to stand above AMD on benchmarks as well. More or less it's the better choice.

  9. I vote for an ARM processor...lol

AMD is perfectly fine for anything you want to do.
Intel is same as AMD, but faster and more expensive.
