Hi guys.
Been searching for info on this topic for ages now and nobody seems to
have a direct answer.
I've bought a Sony NWHD5 mp3 player and would like to be able to
directly transfer pics off my Sony DSC-T7 digital camera.
I would prefer to use a single usb cable if possible, but if I have to
use some form of memory stick reader plugged into the mp3 player I
will.
My main fear is that none of this is possible, but surely it is,
because the mp3 player's basically a 20g HD, yes?
Any help would be overwhelmingly appreciated.

Peter

Your MP3 player is not configures to be a "host". There is no active
action you can perform on the MP3 player to grab the images from your
cam. Usually the mp3 player i "passive" e.g. You will actively _upload_
music from your PC to the mp3 player. Connecting cam to mp3 player will
give a system with two passive part waiting for each other to connect.

Buy a protable 30 GB HD, its around 120£

There is some solution involving an intelligent cable, but it is almost
as expensive.

Damn. That's what I was afraid of.
Thanks for the info, though, Sigma2.
