Bottlenecking

Last response: in CPUs

Hi,

I recently started my first build and I started rather small and rapidly added some parts. I am now worried some parts might be bottlenecking considering I haven't upgraded all my computer parts...

Here are my specs:

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit
ASUS F2A85-M PRO FM2 AMD A85X
AMD A10-5800K Trinity 3.8GHz (4.2GHz Turbo)
2 X SAPPHIRE 100355-1GOCL Radeon HD 7850 1GB 256-bit (crossfire)
CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3
Western Digital WD Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM
CORSAIR Professional Series HX650 650W ATX12V v2.2

I'm worried my CPU might be bottlenecking my GPUs.

Thank you for your help!

He has a FM2 motherboard so he would have to replace that as well to upgrade. You should be fine for awhile... unless you have ~$250-$350 you want to spend to upgrade Mobo + CPU. If that is the case you might want to consider switching to Intel. Let us know what you want to do and what budget and we can help you select something.
