What Adaptec card is this?

Hey all,
I am helping out my boss at work so I really need some help. Hehe.... he has this Adaptec card in one of his machines and I need to know what it is. He is running NT 4 and here is what I got from the control panels->SCSI Devices:

Adaptec AHA-294xU2/295xU2/AIC-789x PCI [NT 4.0]

So, all I can really tell ( I THINK ) is that it supports Ultra SCSI-2, but is there any way to get the EXACT model that this controller is? I'm gonna crack open the case when I get a chance but will that even be worth it? Thanks in advance.

Well, the only way to really know is looking at the card itself, in particular, the Adaptec chip on it, if there is no sticker or anything saying exactly what model it is.

Get the <A HREF="http://www.adaptec.com/worldwide/register/regeditorial.html?edKey=help&language=English+US#tsid_serial" target="_new">serial</A> number off the card (should be eleven digits on a sticker) then go here to <A HREF="http://www.adaptec.com/worldwide/product/prodtechindex.html?cat=/Technology/SCSI" target="_new">Adaptec</A>.

Most likely an Adaptec 2940U2W controller, which is Ultra 2 SCSI (80MB/s/channel).
