Maybe too high temps?

Hi I just finished my first rig, I have an i5 3570k with a noctua nh-d14. In bios my temps are around 37-38c i figured that maybe would be a bit too much?

More about maybe high temps
  1. Depends on your ambient temp plus power management has not kicked in in BIOS!
  2. Are you running at stock or overclocked speeds? What thermal compound did you use? Also, how warm is the room you are in?
  3. My room temp. is 22c and i used the standard nt-n1. I just booted my computer for the first time so my clock is normal. Mobo is around 30c
  4. That's not a problem.

  6. 35, 38 doesn't matter

I know, but i'm afraid of when i start overclocking and playing intensive games.
  8. Well you'll cross that bridge when you come to it.

I guess so. Anyways thanks for the help definitely appriciated :)
  10. My idle temp is around 22C on the desktop and 38C in bios. Temps are always higher in bios from my experience.
  11. Install hwmonitor and see what it reports.
