Hi I just finished my first rig, I have an i5 3570k with a noctua nh-d14. In bios my temps are around 37-38c i figured that maybe would be a bit too much?

Depends on your ambient temp plus power management has not kicked in in BIOS!

Are you running at stock or overclocked speeds? What thermal compound did you use? Also, how warm is the room you are in?

Well you'll cross that bridge when you come to it.

My idle temp is around 22C on the desktop and 38C in bios. Temps are always higher in bios from my experience.
