APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: august 10-11

BUDGET RANGE: up to $170-ish ( preferably sub-$150)

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, youtube/movies

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: psu- PC Power & Cooling Silencer Mk III Series 600 Watt ATX Modular Power Supply I have no current GPU

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS:AMD phenom 2 x4 965 black edition ( will upgrade to haswell on release) MOBO- asrock 970 extreme 3

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: microcenter.com tigerdirect.com or frys.com

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: U.S.A.

PARTS PREFERENCES:would like a EVGA for nvidia or xfx for AMD

OVERCLOCKING: maybe

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: eventually

MONITOR RESOLUTION: i don' t have one at the moment I will take reccomendations for one as well

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: will use on blacklight retribution and battlefield 3 on high/ultra

if your playing battlefield for the most part, i would side with the Gtx 560(even though the AMD 6870 generally performs slightly better than other games)

Initially I would say don't upgrade until you get that Haswell CPU.

What is your current GPU?

This one is your best bet, because Battlefield 3 works best on nvidia cards:

It won't run it on ultra settings, but should run on high settings at 1920x1080.
