Hello,
I have decided to change my graphics card (quadro 3700) with a nvidia gtx 570.
I have purchased and got today. My old quadro has only one 6pin pci-e cable.
New card has 1x6pin and 1x8pin pcie.
My power is cooler master real power 850. I plugged 1 6pin pcie
then 1 8 to 6+2 pin cable. Unfortunately computer is not starting
I replugged my quadro, it is working nicely.
If I try new card with only 6 pin cable PC starts but a few seconds later
Automatically shuts down.
Here is power's web page.

Here is my comp specs.
Tyan s5396 board
2x2.5 Intel xeon
16 gb ram
5 sata hard drive
1 ssd drive
1 DVD writer
What is wrong any idea?
PS: I have bought 8 pin to 6+2 pin pcie cable from internet
It is not original cable from.cooler master.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
