Is the GTX670 worth it?

I'm thinking of getting the GTX670 but I'm wondering if it's really worth it or should I stick with the Radeon AMD 7750/7770/7950 ones instead. I know I'll be saving around 100-150$ but if I can get them should I? Is there a noticeable difference? Thanks

Worth is something only YOU can determine.
Yes, there is a huge difference in capability between a GTX670 and a 7750 class card, not so much for a 7950.

I have rarely regretted paying extra for something very good.
More often, the sweetness of the price turns bitter when I have bought just because it was cheap.

At any price point, you will see, in actual usage, little difference between Nvidia and AMD graphics cards.

7970 on the same money is a better purchase. If you dont intend to play in higher res than 1080p though, you dont need to pay $400. 7870 gives the best bank for you buck, and 7950 has also very good value if you want an even stronger GPU. In resolutions up to 1080p you want really notice the difference between 7950 and 670. 7870 is another story, but it is almost half money and you still play on 1080p on high/ultra settings with AA enabled.

The 670 is more than worth it imo as is the 7950/ and some of the 7970 is it worth it to YOU only you can determine that.

I dont argue that 670 is not a good card, I'm just saying that at their current pricing you can find better alternatives.
