Its all compatible and a very nice build. With the i5-3570k you can overclock and you probably want an aftermarket heatsink for that, such as the Hyper 212 EVO.

Thanks for the reply, I was thinking about getting an after-market heat-sink but the idea of applying the thermal paste myself is a bit daunting. I'll see how I feel when I get paid. :)

Also, are the differences between the i5 and i7 processors worth the extra money in your opinion?

For gaming the i5's are the better option. The i7's are only useful for heavily threaded task like photo and video editing. Though the i5's are more then capable at that task as well. The reason is because the i7's have 8 threads and 4 cores, and the i5's don't have hyper threading so they only have 4 cores. Games don't tend to utilize even 4 cores yet and the hyper threading just reduces the effectiveness of each core. Also the i5 is more cost effective so I would go with that.
