I hate asking questions about school, cause people assume I'm cheating, but I'm honestly stumped here!
For a Computer systems class I need to find a desktop computer PSU that consumes 60watt at full load and ~30watt at idle time.
I've built a couple computers last summer, and everything I see is 350watt+. I've done some searching, but I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to low power PSU. I think of a traditional PSU as something like this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139011
Through my search for low power consumption PSU's I found some products such as these:
http://www.logicsupply.com/products/picopsu_90
http://www.myledlight.com/60_watt_12v_power_supply.aspx
But I'm not really sure if this can actually replace a standard PSU in a DESKTOP computer. And plus this isn't even small enough for these requirements my professor gave. Like I said I really hate asking school questions online, could someone at least point me in the right direction as to what sort of products I should be looking for?
