how do i remove a cpu heatsink and fan that uses screw pins instead of push pins like the screws would look like regular screws. i just don't want to mess up like i did the push pins and i'm planning on swapping out a pentium 4 cpu for a dual cpu so if possible tell me also what to do when replacing an old processor for a new one

Use a regular screwdriver and loosen the screws that fasten the heatsink to the motherboard.

(On some Dell computers there are just two screws and the other end is hinged. Details at "support.dell.com" in the manual.

The CPU is installed in the socket on the motherboard and secured by a load plate and locking lever. This process is also explained in the manual.
