BF3 Stuttering with Xfire 6950 Toxic

Hey everybody!

I have a pretty awesome setup:
i-5 2500K
asus p67 sabertooth
8gb Gskill 1600 MHz DDR3
2x 120gb Intel 320 SSDs
2x Sapphire Toxic 6950s in Xfire
Corsair HX850 PSU

With that said, I have never had any issues running BF3 at ultra at 1920x1200. However, I was playing today, and the game kept stuttering randomly. It would get to the point that it would completely freeze for a second or two, then resume. I'm running MSI Afterburner ver. 2.2.3 in the background to monitor everything. The temps are fine (~70C max) on both cards, but the GPU usage seems to be spiking. It just seems weird that I've never had any issues before, and all of a sudden it's becoming a huge annoying problem. If anyone could lend me some advice that would be much appreciated.

have you updated your drivers recently? If so that could be the cause of the problems maybe revert back to the old ones.....if not you could try updating to the newest ones and see if that changes anything...let me know how it goes.
