I don't know if I am in the correct group, but I'm hoping someone can
help me. I had my Nikon CoolPix and my Dell laptop stolen while here
in China.
I've replaced the camera with a Sony Cybershot T3 (same as T33 in the
states) but it has only a Chinese manual. It's a 5 mega pixel but I
have it set for 3 and fine and English. I can figure out most of the
features but........... I'm using a friend's computer to download the
pics (windows xp) but when I open the photos in his Photoshop 7 the res
is only 72. I'm sure I used to automatically open my old shots (on old
stolen camera and my computer with PS7) with a res of 300.

I only noticed because the pics are huge but not very good quality - as
viewed on the computer. I want to take great pics while here in China
and don't want to get home with low res stuff. I don't need to do much
manipulation here. I'll just copy the pix to a CD and play with them
when I get back in a few months.

So my questions 1. is my camera set up wrong? Suggestions? Or is my
friend's PS7 set up differently from the way I had mine set up? Can I
set up his to open my photos as 300?

It's really really hot here and I may not be thinking properly. Do set
me straight please.

Thanks
Diane
