I'm looking to build a gaming PC and I was wondering if I could reuse a processor to cut down on the price.

Right know I have a Dell Inspiron 620 which I've had for a year or so. I wanted to know if any of the parts in this computer could be salvaged and reused in a Gaming PC. I wont be planning on using my old computer once this new one is set up.

The specs for the Dell is
Dell Inspiron Specs

But the thing im not to sure about is if any of the parts in here are good for gaming and running a fairly intensive game.

So my question is if any of these part, mostly the CPU, motherboard, ect could be reused.

I think you just need a graphics card and power supply there is nothing wrong with any of the rest unless you want a $1000+ monster gaming PC. You may need a new case if a standard graphics card doesn't fit but I think it .will

Yep. Upgrade your case and power supply and stick a graphics card in there.

Heck yeah! Those components will make a nice mid-range gamer with the addition of a suitable gfx card.
