Hey there, this is my current PC build I'd like some critique on, this is my first computer I plan on building and I've had some problems along the way. This build is not finished, because I'm not exactly sure how to finish it.
I can't figure out how to choose the video card I like. Also I'm not sure how to calculate my current builds power requirements, so I haven't chosen a PSU either. Any feedback is welcome. :pt1cable:

800-1200 for all of it or just the parts you don't have yet. If its for the whole build then how much have you already spent?

For all of it, I have none of these parts yet.

This build allows you to add another one of those cards later on in SLI.

While these builds are interesting to look at and do change my opinion on somethings, I still don't know what to look for in video cards, or how to calculate my PSU needs.
Unfortunetly my budget for this is slowly draining, and this computer might have to wait a number of months.

how to look for video cards: look mainly at benchmarks, then price, then what features you need (3d or multi-monitor), and the cooler that is on the video card

how to calculate power consumption: 500w-550w is enough for systems running a single video card

600-650w: enough for 2 smaller video cards to be run in crossfire or SLI configurations

700-750w: enough for almost all 2 video cards to be run in SLI/crossfire solutions.

the rest doesnt matter to you given your budget is not enough to get the higher end stuff
