Hi, I am looking at buying a new laptop and i dont know what to buy. I am going to be using it for general internet browsing and word processing. I would just like your input as there are so many notebooks to choose from. I only have $1000 to spend, thanks !!

You don't need to spend $1000. For what you intend to do, a $500-600 would do nicely.
