Hi there,

I am looking to purchase win7 at a low price.

I found this site softonsales.com

anyone use them before. I don't want to get screwed over.

It used to be you could look at prices and figure that out. Way too low = obvious 'screw you over site'. But those sites got smarter and raised the prices just enough so you might think they're legit.

The site is missing 'real contact info'. Just an email address, web site contact form, phone number in China and web chat.
The base of operations is in a country notorious for counterfeiting software.
Those two things say 'screw you over site' to me.

I know its in the UK but can't imagine postage too high! They sell Dell branded versions so your machine will think its a Dell but sure that won't bother you. I've used a few of their licences with no problems.Also search Amazon for OEM versions, sometimes get a bargain there. Good luck with the Student version...
