New gaming pc build need help

Approximate Purchase Date: 2 months

Budget Range:500-550 after rebates,shipping and taxes

Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, surfing the web, watching videos

Are you buying a monitor: no got one

Parts to Upgrade: building new pc not upgrading ALREADY HAVE A CASE

Do you need to buy OS: no

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.ca or tigerdirect.ca

Location: ontario canada i live in a fairly small town with no local electronics or pc stores

Overclocking: Yes

or Crossfire: Maybe

Your Monitor Resolution: my monitor is 1900 by 1200

Additional Comment: IM AM GETTING THE XFX DOUBLE D HD 7870

id say impossible to fit everything under 550 given the video card after taxes is like 250 which just ate half of your budget up. and you say you need overclocking? cool

this is the cheapest build you can probably have with decent components

you could go to a amd phenom rig but it would still be around the 700 dollar mark

I dont need anything super fancy i only need something that can support the 7870 so like a phenom ii x4 or 4gb or ram or a 500gb hard drive

the gigabyte 7870 is cheaper

try to buy everything from ncix as it only costs 5 bucks to get everything shipped
