Last year after I reinstalled my Asus N61Jq laptop using the backup partition, I uninstalled a lot of bloatware that came with the reinstall, including a trial version of Office 2007 and an activation software as well.
Today, I took a look at the Windows update history. There were updates for Office 2007, but where's the software?
Speaking of phantom updates, CCleaner's "Cleaner" option listed that Audacity, Office 2007 and Adobe Air are also in my computer. But I uninstalled all three software a year ago.
It also listed Internet Explorer 9 and Windows Game Explorer, two Windows features that I manually turned off and can't find without turning them back on.
What's interesting is that IE9 keeps picking up temporary files...
