Computer intermittently shuts off

About 4 days ago my computer just shut off. I was in the middle of a manual win update and it just shut off. I replaced the SSD that my OS(Win7 Ult) is on just because it only had less than 1G left on it(64G). I also replaced my memory to Crucial Ballistix Sport(16G,thats the most my MB will handle. Gigabyte-GA-P55A-UD4P. My power supply is a Corsair TX750W. The build is about 3 yrs old. Have a EVGA GeForceGTX260 all with latest drivers. HELP!!!!

A friend of mine had the same problem a couple of weeks ago. She said it was the power supply, and that her husband replaced it with another one they had in the basement on standby. It seemed to have done the trick. I hope this helps.

I think that's my next option, thanks! I've never had one go intermittent. Just went out altogether.
