When you get a new card, while the old one is still in, do you delete the drivers first, or do you install the new card, delete the old and install the new?

Best solution

a c 177 U Graphics card

Uninstall the old first. Note, 'uninstall'-do n't just delete the files!
If you're swapping from nvidia/AMD or vice-versa, grab a copy of driversweeper, install it then run it in Safe Mode to clear out the old software compleately.

Do n't worry, Windows has its own set of basic VGA drivers that will enable a dispaly with the new card so you can install the new drivers.
