It seems every 2 hours of straight gaming my graphics will stutter/lag for about 5 to 10 seconds. It happens consistently. Anyone know whats going on? Computer is only a week old
My system specs:
PSU CORSAIR 1200W
ASUS SABERTOOTH Z77 LGA 1155 Intel Z77
ASUS ENGTX560 DCII OC/2DI/1GD5 GeForce GTX 560 (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 2 of them
Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz
Ripjaws X Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 2 of them
Pioneer Black Internal BD/DVD/CD Writer SATA BDR-207DBKS
Windows 7 64 bi
so its not a hardware problem? The ASUS software installed for the MOBO has been giving me problems lately. First, the bios knocked out my graphics cards. Then, the ASUS Network iControler throttled down my upload speed to .22 Mbps.
Yea that crapware that comes in motherboard disks does that. I suggest you reinstall windows to get rid of it - some of it integrates into windows and it's impossible to get rid of it otherwise. And only install drivers from the disk - or even better, install only internet drivers and download chipset drivers from the internet.
Since your windows is only a week old, it shouldn't be much to backup.
