Hello,

I have a BIOSTAR A780L3G AMD 780L Motherboard and i'm wondering if it supports the radeon hd 6770 as i've read that the radeon hd 6770 requires 2 slots.

Thanks,

Hi Crimsondivel,

I got my card yesterday, PowerColor 6870, and after installing the card and the driver, everything was going fine for the first 20min until I get a blue screen and had to shutdown. Afterward when i start my pc it wont detect my monitor. I'm wondering if it's because of the driver or because of the video card itself.
Have you ever encountered such problem with your gigabyte 6870?

Here's my system specs:

MOTHERBOARD: BIOSTAR A780L3G AMD 780 AM3 SOCKET MOTHERBOARD
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition AM3 CPU
RAM: ADATA Premier Srs 4GB 240Pin DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)
PSU: ULTRA 700W PSU LIMITED EDITION - BLK
VIDEO CARD: Powercolor Radeon HD 6870 900MHZ 1GB 4.2GHZ GDDR5

Thanks,

I fixed the problem. I just reconnected all the cables and replugged the ram and also uninstalled the video card driver and it works now. Maybe the new amd driver 12.8 is causing me problems.
Which version are you using crimsondivel?
