Hello people
I am wondering if these parts are compatible as I am trying to make a relatively cheap but decent gaming computer but this is my first time so I would like anyone who knows anything about building a PC

CPU: Athlon II X2 Dual Core 270
Motherboard: Asus M4N68T-M T2 V2
Memory: Kingston 1333 MHz 2GB DDR3 RAM
GPU: Sapphire RADEON HD5450 1GB
HDD: Seagate ST500DM002 3.5 Inch SATA HDD
Power Supply: Cooler Master EXTREME POWER 550W V2 REG

I am not buying a cpu heatsink and instead using the retail as i cannot find a good heatsink that is in my price range ($0-$60).
Please tell me anything i can improve or add to make this set better.
I am also using a pre bought case, optical drive, monitor, keyboard and mouse.
Tell me anything. Thanks

Sorry to say this, but a 5450 is more of a HTPC card than anything. It will lag at med. settings on pretty much any game. I mean, even Intel HD 4000 beats it (seriously).

And 2GB of RAM is not enough. A game will use 2GB alone.

Segate has had a ton of failures.

The PSU is unreliable.

Tell us your budget and what games you'll play, and we can recommend a better build.
