Hi, I recently got a Nvidia 9800 GT and it was second hand so it didn't come with the PSU adapter. I'm new to all of this so I was wondering what adapter I would need to connect it to my PSU. These are the available plugs from my PSU right now: http://imgur.com/a/WqeM2 The last one is of the Nvidia 9800 GT. Please help!

Sorry, I went off to bed, yea those adapters only have 3 pins in them, thats fine.

You should be good to go...

To check your PSU just pop off the side panel and youll see a sticker somewhere on the PSU.

You need a 6 pin PCI-e connector coming from your PSU.

alternatively you can use 4pin Molex (1st picture) to 6 pin connectors, providing your PSU has enough power, It doesnt require much so you might be ok....

What is the model of psu?

Hey thanks for the reply, I don't think I have a 6 pin PCI-e coming from my PSU and also that 2nd thing costs like $80 which is more than my GFX card is worth anyways. BUT I did manage to pick this up from my friend just now:

It's 2 molex things but it only has 3 pins each and it's connected to like a little 6 pin box that fits into my gfx card. One of the pins on the black box isn't filled with anything though: http://imgur.com/pehiE
So is this not the right one? And as for the PSU unit I have no clue but I know it's 500w because I just opened it up today. Is there a way to find out what PSU I have without opening it up again?

Stupid question but, on the molexs there are only 3 little pins inside on each of them, however on the female molexs on my PSU there are 4 holes... is it not the right cable?
