More about 1100 build help
  1. That setup will handle wow. Just make sure the ram you already have is decent (DDR3). I would just look at the current gen i5 3570k, but its not really necessary if the money isnt there for it. Cases vary a lot, depending on the look you want. If theres no window then you wont need as good cable management for asthetics, just for airflow. Any decent case you are thinking about will probably have a video on youtube of someone going over its features which is very helpful. Work out your budget for the case to narrow it down, also if you can get an SSD boot drive you will be up and running a lot faster.
  2. If you don't plan on overclocking then go with this.

    cpu - i5 3570 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115233

    mobo - asrock h77m http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157303

    case - corsair 400r http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139008

    os - windows 7 http://www.amazon.com/Windows-Premium-64bit-System-Builder/dp/B004Q0PT3I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1348629891&sr=8-1&keywords=windows+7

That will work better than what you had and is cheaper. Don't need a k cpu if you're not overclocking.
  3. If you're not overclocking, no need for a -K processor. Go with this i5-3570 instead.

That PSU is way too expensive. This Antec 650W is a better buy.

If you plan on playing Borderlands 2 (it's an awesome game, you should), your GPU choice is good. If not, maybe go with a hd 7950 instead. It should be a little bit faster in most games.

I would try to squeeze a SSD into your budget, even a 60GB one. 60GB is only enough for OS, apps, and about 1 large game, but it makes your system seem much more responsive.
  4. Really if you're not overclocking a good 500w psu is more than enough power. This is a good psu and at 550w its a better fit for your build xfx pro550w http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207013

You want to make sure that RAM is 1.5v or else it can mess up the controller on these 1155 boards. You don't need a GTX 660 ti either to max out WOW on high settings.

These benchmarks were done with a GTX 660 at stock settings. That Gigabyte GTX 660 in this build is factory over clocked to the max.

  6. This board down below was just recently released and it allows for SLI. That card down below is factory over clocked and will obviously get more FPS in WOW for the same price as that MSI card you have up above. Windows 7 64bit OEM is going for $90 + free shipping @ amazon.
