Intel's SBA
Hello,
I was about set to buy a Lenovo ThinkPad E530 with the Core i5. Then I saw something in a review about Intel's SBA slowing it down and causing problems and the person -- who sounded pretty knowledgeable -- couldn't find out from Lenovo whether it was safe to uninstall it. I found a similar Lenovo with AMD A-8, but it seems people do not think that's a good processor. I work online as a freelance writer, web designer and SEO and I need something fast in the sense that I can work with many windows and tabs open without freezing or getting so slow it might as well freeze. Has anyone got an opinion on these security issues and other problems with the SBA that is apparently required with Intel?
