Need some advices

Since I'm still using my old PC, but I need some advice. Should I get a new graphic card or not?

My rig:

MSI Motherboard

AMD Bulldozer 3.6GHz Black edition

750W power supply

16GB Ram

HD 7770 1GB - Was thinking to get it up to 2GB

500HDD

Because I was thinking to upgrade to GTX 560 or HD 7970.

Any advice?

no point of a upgrade to 2gb. you will see 0 difference.

if you were to upgrade to a 7970, your 7770 was a waste of money

The question is up to you, do you need a gpu upgrade?

A gpu upgrade would do you wonders if your current card is not quite up to the task of whatever your playing.

If your using a single monitor and the resolution is 1920x1080 or less, 1GB of Vram is enough.

What's your budget?

Why though? The 7970 is like 5 tiers higher than the 7770.

it is but there was no point of buying a 130 card before and then spending 400 dollars more for a higher end card when he could have gotten the 7970 in the first place.

How do you know it didn't come with his computer?? And maybe he didn't know it wasn't going to play his games as well as expected till he tried it.

obviously it didnt come with the computer given prebuilts dont have a 7770 until they are around 1400.

You can get any gpu you want on a pre-built including dell, you just add the upgrade option when your building it.
