Why is brothers internet speed very slow and mine really fast?

Hello,
my internet connection is very slow,not on this computer but the other one,this one is a laptop and the one with slow internet connection is a computer,they are both connected to the internet wirelessly.would you know what could make my internet connection faster on the other computer? thanks much appreciated.

Wireless is subject to a lot of environmental factors - anything metallic between your router and your brother's computer could affect the signal getting through.

Microwave ovens and radiators are prime suspects but it's also possible his system is set to one channel and the router only broadcasts on that channel every so often while it's roaming round the others.

Check your wireless adapter's configuration against his.
