Extreme Budget Build - Suggestions/Look-over Needed

Putting together an extreme budget build for my girlfriend's parents. Probably around $300-500 range (not including monitor.) Will be purchased very soon. In terms of usage, just a lot of Web and Videos etc., no gaming.

Preferred websites to purchase from: Newegg and TigerDirect
Michigan, USA

Overclocking and SLI/Crossfire: Nope

Here's my public wishlist on NewEgg: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=25275287

Subtotal on NewEgg is $401.93

I think the PSU may be overkill, but potentially good down the road I guess.
I'm also really undecided on a GPU, I really don't think they need one, thoughts on this?

I also put together a cart on TigerDirect. The processor and HDD are the same.

More about extreme budget build suggestions look over needed
  1. My main advice is don't go anywhere near that cheap power supply, from tiger. The Rosewill one's OK, but would suggest Antec Basiq BP430. Good quality budget PSU, plenty of power if you're not going to stick some powerful graphics card in. If you're not into gaming, as such, you don't need a seperate graphics card. It may be worth considering using i3-3225 processor which has much better onboard graphics, making it less likely you will need to add anything.
  2. What os are you going to be running? I noticed you did not include it is it that you already have the os? If you gonna be shopping around for the best prices i suggest using http://pcpartpicker.com/ it may save you a few more dollars here and there.
  3. Yes, I was skeptical on that PSU on Tiger.

What about one of the following?

Thanks for the tip on the i3-3225, I'll do that and stick with no GPU.

Is there a build you side with, the Tiger one or Newegg?
  4. None of those power supplies I would recommend. Get a power supply from a more reputable brand.

  5. That definitely seems the better choice on Newegg, thanks!

I'm also looking for a monitor, any suggestions? Was looking at the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009255 on Newegg

Or either of these on the Tiger:
