Hi. I'm a little skeptical now about what GPU I am going to get for my gaming PC. Now, I can either get a MSI 2GB 560 Ti with 2x fans on the GPU for $275.00 and buy a Intel Core i7 2700k as my CPU for $340.00 OR I can go for a 670 2GB for $375.00 - $400.00 but get a i5 2500k for $230. What would be better for gaming? Thanks.

The GPU will have a larger impact on your gaming performance than the CPU. Go for the GTX 670 and the still very good i5 processor.

Well if you have a Microcenter in your area. They have a special for the 3570k going for $189 plus add in a motherboard(discount on motherboard) and your price would be near the price of a of new eggs prices.

As for graphics. That is easy. Go for the GTX 670. They are nice cards and near the speed of the GTX 680.

after you hit quad cores, most of the budget should be focused on the gpu, unless you are doing compute work.
