I am going to be building my first PC very soon, and I would like to order the parts this weekend. After many tough decisions, I have come down to the following build, and I just need some approval and a few answers to some questions.

CPU + Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?Ite...

Case: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Corsair-Special-Edition-White...

PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

SSD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

HDD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

ODD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

OS: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Questions:

1. How is it? Any suggestions?
2. I'm worried about the window of the case being too small to show off my handiwork. :sol:  What do you think?
3. Is it a bad idea to buy my case from Walmart (with in-store pick-up)? What about Windows 7? http://www.walmart.com/ip/Microsoft-Windows-7-Home-Prem...

4. What do you think about white cold cathodes? What size should I get for my case?
5. Should I buy my HDD and monitor somewhere cheaper? NCIX has good deals on HDDs.
6. How legit is Amazon? My friend said they are just a middle man so you could get some crap.
7. Additional Comments?

I personally love amazon... but I try to buy the stuff that is actually shipped by amazon as opposed to a third party... all that said your system looks similar to what I built recently and it should rock.... the window is not really a window on that case either... it's mesh for four fans... I used a corsair c70 and it has kind of a hybrid with window+fan spots and it's awesome...

EDIT: I'm kinda confused though cause it's shown with both mesh and with a clear window... checking cosair's site

seems it comes with both and you can choose window or mesh...

I have that case and they give you the option of using the mesh panel for ventilation.

All looks good to me but I'd go with the Radeon 7950 over the GTX 660TI. And then I'm not sure about that PSU - maybe go for the Corsair CX 750.

I went with the 660 Ti over the 7950 cause I'm slightly a Nvidia fanboy. :kaola:  For the extra couple bucks, am I really going to see a big difference (>5fps) or will it just be a small boost. If not, then I'd prefer to go Nvidia.

Originally I was going to go with the CX 750, but then I say the Rosewill 750 with semi-modular cabling. I asked the Tom's forum what they thought and all came back pretty positive. As seen here: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/348519-28-good

One person mentioned it was the same as the OCZ ZS750. Both the OCZ and Rosewill PSUs were rated very high quality as seen here:

Also @g-unit1111, How do you like the case?

It's a great case - I'd buy one again. If the size turns you off you should check out the slimmer Carbide 500R - it's the same case but a smaller profile.
