GTX 680 or Radeon 7970

I prefer Sapphire over HIS, but u did not specify the exact ones, as there is 4 HIS and 2 Sapphire 7970s that newegg sells ranging from $385-460

id get this instead as its best cooler imo on the market.

The vapor x i would say is best over the HIS, If u can get an ASUS 7970 with the DCUII as its a quality built and has one of the best coolers, newegg only has the ARES II which is $1599 lol but if u can find an asus 7970 it has the best cooler in my mind, saw a review of 670s a while back that compared best cooling along with performance against a gigabyte windforce x3, which in the case of the cooling system the DCUII was my friends final decision as for cooling the windforce was slightly better but the asus has a all metal design for the heatsink and its cover.

Against those two tho Id go with the Sapphire.

Shows that the SApphire OC wins in temps at stock speeds under load, and its the non vapor x

id still go for vapor-x+ get 2 free games.

If i was buying thru newegg the vapor would of been my choice anyway since theres no ASUS ones that are not $1500 lol Not sure who wouldnt want $120 in games, get a great gpu plus many games! its a win win

Matters on ur resolution and what resolution u'll be recording at but the links should give a decent idea

Im not too sure on how recording affects fps if playing and recording at 1080p maxed settings, so all i can say is look at each benchmark/review at 1080p gameplay and see what one is the best for the games u use and go from there or find something that mentions recording as well, but this is where i leave u lol

In some places,even the 7950 Beats a GTX 680 and also taking into account the free games AMD is offering, 7970 all the way.
