i found some cheap cards on ebay for under £100 and i want to know if they can max wow and guild wars 2 on full settings and some other games on steam. cards i have found are

msi hd 7750 1gb gddr5 pci-e 3.0 for £90
sapphire hd 7770 OC 1gb gddr5 for £90
gtx 550 ti 1gb gddr5 for £85
xfx hd 6790 1gb gddr5 for £70
xfx hd 5770 1gb gddr5 for £60
xfx hd 6850 1gb gddr5 for £94

also found a 5850 for a reasonable price, i plan to buy at the end of this month so all input is welcomed :)

its been some time since i played wow but from memory highly populated areas are very demanding on your system.

in most areas i would be confident in saying a 7770 OC would run max settings and hold a very resonable 60+fps without to much trouble.

just noticed the 7770 oc has 1 hdmi, 1 dvi and 2 mini display ports, is it possible to connect my 2 monitors to it? i have vga adaptor monitors but plan on getting eyefinity in the future

Well i can run it with 40 FPS with a HD 5770 on high.So i think you need at least a GTX 560 Ti

Jonno:

If your monitors only support VGA connections, you can connect them both. However you will need two adapters:

The first is a VGA --> DVI adapter. Here's one for sale online:
http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-DVI-Cable-Adapter-DVIVGA...

The second is a VGA --> DisplayPort apapter. Here's one for sale online:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Note that both adapters are "passive", meaning they do not require external power. Converting to DP from either DVI or HDMI requires a more expensive adapter that requires external power.

Hope this clears up any questions you have.

Don't go crossfire with low end cards, its never worth it. Just sell the old 7770 and buy a new single high end gpu ;)

The 7770 is all you need. Wow pushes the cpu a LOT harder than the gpu.
