Will my parts fit together? - New/First Build

I've done a fair bit of research on deciding there parts and am up to the final stages of checking if they all fit together, but I'm pretty idiotic when it comes to hardware so.... I haven't brought them yet and am double checking with you guys before I sink my money into my $1200 gaming rig :D Here is my components list:

CPU: Intel Core i5 3470 $189 In Stock
Mobo: Asrock B75 Pro3-M $70 In Stock
RAM: G.Skill Ares 2 x 4GB 1600Mhz $43 In Stock
SSD: Samsung 830 120GB $105 In Stock
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB (ST2000DM001) $99 In Stock
GPU: Gigabyte N670WF2 $419 In Stock

PSU: Antec High Current Gamer 520W $85 In Stock
ODD: DVD burner $19 In Stock

Any advice/suggestions for my build would also be greatly appreciated, thanks for the help!

More about will parts together first build
  1. The Intel Core i5-3470 isn't on the CPU support list for the Asrock B75 Pro3-M. It will probably work, but there are no guarantees. The rest of the build should be compatible and looks pretty good.
  2. what i would get

    no overclocking or SLI

    both better than yours

Half as much storage space and a lower-quality SSD. Slower CPU that still costs the same.
  4. cool. but the vertex 4 is known to be just as reliable as the samsung 830 while being faster. the only bad thing is that it doesnt look as cool

if the 3470 is the same price, go ahead and get it. just that the i5 3330 was on my list at the time
  5. The Samsung 830 is faster than the Vertex 4 in some situations, slower in others. OCZ isn't known for the highest reliability.

the vertex 4 wins in every write task while the samsung wins most of read operations.

you do know that the vertex 4 is based off of marvel hardware right? meaning its basically a crucial m4 with ocz firmware.

yeah. all of their other products suck but this one is actually good and just as good as the samsung
  7. I thought Marvell was just the controller. Anyway, the Vertex 4 isn't bad. It's just that when you're already paying a good amount of money, I would at least personally feel better about spending that little bit extra to get a Samsung sticker on my drive.
  8. marvell is a controller but its at a hardware level. i personally would not pay the extra when they both are around the same tier of SSDs
