Right now I have a 6670 and I'm looking to upgrade. I have this power supply
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371029

What is the best graphics card I can get with this. My cpu is the A8-3870k which takes 100w

Would I be able to put this is my machine http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004F6GJAU/sr=8-2/qid=1360524171/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&qid=1360524171&seller=&sr=8-2

without any hazard of the card failing or my machine burning and eating my components?

I heard Nvidia GPUs are more psu efficient so nvidia gpus are fine too, doesn't have to be an amd one.

Would it be better than the 7850/6850?

http://www.hwcompare.com/13632/geforce-gtx-650-ti-vs-radeon-hd-7850/

It's only 20w less and performs a little worse.

I'll probably get it from newegg, more trustworthy right? So if I get a DOA one or one that breaks, do I have to pay for return shipping and stuff to get a replacement? Also thanks for the links.

I found an identical one here http://www.amazon.com/XFX-Edition-DisplayPort-Graphics-FX785AZNL4/dp/B009TS478K/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1360532062&sr=8-13&keywords=7850 the review says the 2GB one offers much better performance for open world games. I might go with the 2GB one when it comes back in stock and I think they do offer the games, I'm gonna chat with the support about it.

Thanks again for the help! I can't wait for my new gpu :D So am I going to experience bottlenecking or none, I'm most concerned about this.

It will not bottleneck, it's a decent cpu, and the card itself pays off, with two games wit a value of ~120$.

No, the 7850 2GB twin frozr only takes one 6 pin pcie connector, so it's the same power consumption.
You have a pcie 2.0 slot, it's compatible with pcie 3.0, and it will fit.
@iceclock i was referring to the cpu.
