Update jacks your home page?

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.customize (More info?)

Recently, IE insists on making
http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/muoptdefault.aspx?ln=en&returnurl=http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us
the home page, but only as Admin, not Lowly User. This, in spite of
about:blank showing in the home page box.
How to recover?

Laurie

Scan for home page hijackers and spyware.
