Media Player CPU

I am looking at building a cheap media player pc in a htpc box. I am trying to keep it under 400$ and i have found a great package deal on a A6 5400k with a Gigabyte GA-F2A85XM-D3H Motherboard. I am wondering if the 5400k A6 will have enough power to play H.264 MKV 1080p videos ? i want to make sure it will have enough CPU power without having stuttering issues. thanks
